As we enter week 15 of the NHL regular season, we are counting down the top 10 fantasy picks for forwards based on points this season.
10. Sam Reinhardt (FLA) – 51 pts
As last year’s Stanley Cup winner, Reinhardt is having a solid season this year and so are the Florida Panthers, sitting in 12th place in the league. They will likely make the playoffs this year with Reinhardt there to aid them in goal scoring. With 27 goals so far this season, this number will only increase as the season progresses.
9. Jack Hughes (NJD) – 52 pts
As one of the Devil’s key players, Hughes has 17 goals and 35 assists this season. The devils sit comfortably in 7th place in the league and Hughes’ performance is an essential part of the teams success in the coming playoffs.
8. Jack Eichel (VGK) – 54 pts
With an impressive 43 assists so far this season, Eichel is helping to solidify the Knights’ position as one of the top teams in the league this season.
7. Kyle Connor (WPJ) – 55 pts
It’s no surprise to see Connor on this list as the Jets have a record breaking season. Having earned 55 pts so far, it’ll be exciting to see that number increase as the Jets comfortably enter the playoffs.
6. Mitch Marner (TML) – 59 pts
The Maple Leafs cling to a top position in the league despite Matthew’s continued injury saga. And Mitch Marner is a key component to this continued success with 59 points so far this season, with 14 goals and 46 assists.
5. Connor McDavid (EDM) – 59 pts
Of course, McDavid makes this list as one of the greatest players in the league. McDavid has broken career records so far this season and will likely continue to do so. There is no question as to his essentiality to the Oilers wins this season.
4. Mikko Rantanen (COL) – 60 pts
With 60 points, Rantanen snatches the number 4 spot on this list. With 25 goals and 35 assists in his 44 games played this year, Rantanen is undoubtedly one of the top forwards this season.
3. Nikita Kucherov (TBL) – 62 pts
