We are only a few days out from the 59th Super Bowl where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles and we are back to make some predictions on what we think will happen at the game.
Who will win?
Throughout the Playoffs this year, our predictions have been pretty spot on, except for the unsuspecting success of the Commanders. The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win 3 consecutive Super Bowls. And while at times this season we saw the cracks in their system, over the past 3 years, the Chiefs have demonstrated their power and established themselves as one of, if not the top team in the NFL. The Chiefs’ defense will do well to slow down Saquon Barkley but Jalen Hurts held his own against the Chiefs in their last Super Bowl clash. It wouldn’t be smart to bet against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs but there is a part of us that thinks that Saquon Barkle and A.J Brown can get the Eagles over the line. We would love to see the Eagles take the W, but our gut says that the Chiefs will steal it.
Colour of the Gatorade:
Another major moment of each year’s Superbowl is the colour of the Gatorade that will drench either Andy Reid or Nick Sirianni. For the last 2 years, it has been purple. The year before was orange. We think this year will be the classic blue gatorade.
Celeb Appearances
One of the most fun things to see at the Super Bowl is the amount of celebrities who go to the game. It’s always fun to see the world’s biggest stars starstruck seeing their favourite players. Here is our predictions of which celebs we expect to see at this years game and why we think they’ll be there.
Taylor Swift and Her Mom, Andrea Swift:
Taylor is a consistent supportive girlfriend to Chiefs’ Tight End Travis Kelce. We’ve already seen the content of them celebrating on the pitch for this year’s Conference Championship win. And while she’s usually in the background of a shot of Taylor, her mother Andrea has often been in attendance at the games. We think both of them being there is a given.
Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce & Mama Donna Kelce
Former Eagles Star Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie will most likely be in attendance this year. On his podcast, Kelce said he will be happy if either team wins but he is rooting for his brother Travis. In 2018, Kelce’s mom, Donna, sported a jersey that was half Eagles and half Chiefs. Maybe Jason will sport one this year.
Bradley Cooper & Gigi Hadid
Bradley Cooper is a huge Eagles fan. He attended the NFC Conference Championship with his daughter and often attends their games. There’s no way he’s missing this one. Since it’s one of the biggest sporting events of the year, his girlfriend, and long-time BFF of Taylor Swift Gigi Hadid may also be in attendance.
Will Smith
Another huge Eagles fan, Philly native Will Smith will likely be in attendance to support his team. He attends a lot of Eagles games so it doesn’t look like he’d miss this one.
Rob McElhenney, Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively
Wrexham FC owner and Philly native Rob McElhenney will also likely be in attendance this year. Along with him we predict, Wrexham co-owner and friend Ryan Reynolds will join him. Ryan Reynolds is a known sports fan. He and wife Blake Lively (long time friend of Taylor Swift) were in attendance at last year’s game. However their current legal drama and scandal with actor Justin Baldoni, will the couple decide to lay low this year? There was also a rumor of a rift in their friendship with Taylor Swift. So, we predict McElhenney will be there and maybe Ryan Reynolds. We aren’t sure about Blake just yet.
Kevin Hart
Another safe bet is Kevin Hart to be in attendance. He attended the NFC Conference Championship and is a long-time Eagles fan, so we predict he will be in attendance.
Paul Rudd
Rudd is a massive fan of the Chiefs and attends games whenever he can. When the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2023, Rudd said: “I’m such a Chiefs fan that you don’t wanna be around me during a game.” We predict that we will see a shot of him freaking out during the game this year too.
Half-time performance
Kendrick Lamar is having a great start to 2025. After winning big at the Grammys on Sunday, Kendrick Lamar is now prepping for his half-time show at this year’s Super Bowl. Performers usually bring a surprise guest on stage with them. It’s said that Sza will join him this ear as the two are set to go on tour together. Therefore, we don’t foresee any other stars joining him, except for Sza.
