Random Stanley Cup Final Predictions

Random Stanley Cup Final Predictions

If you read our previous article on who we thought would win the Stanley Cup Finals, then you’ll love this one even more. If you haven’t read it yet, here you go. We are bringing you more in-detail and random predictions to add to your Stanley Cup bingo card.

Celebrities in Attendance:

In our SuperBowl predictions we were correct on every single celebrity sighting prediction. Will we be so lucky with the Stanley Cup? We hope so!

First up is DJ Khaled. He lives in Florida for starters and is a huge Panthers Fan. He was in attendance last year to see them win so no doubt he’ll want to see it again.

Shaquille O’Neal aka Zach Hyman’s biggest fan has publicly shown his support for the Oilers. And while Hyman won’t be playing due to an injury, we could see Shaq making an appearance to show support.

Brandin Podziemski, guard for the Golden State Warriors, has been seen supporting the Edmonton Oilers through the playoffs, even wearing an Oilers jersey to a game. Since the Warriors are not in the NBA finals, Podziemski might make an appearance at one of the games to support the Oilers.

Florida native Ariana Grande sang the national anthem at a Panthers game in 2002 at just 8 years old and was in attendance for Games 1 & 2 last year. Her long-standing history as a Panthers fan means we should definitely see her at some stage.

Will we find out the meaning behind Pink Pony club?

The song becoming associated with an Oilers win. When Evan Bouchard and Trent Frederick were asked about the meaning behind playing it, Bouchard responded saying, “We’re gonna keep that one within the team.”

Will we find out the secret meaning soon, we predict so!

Someone flashes the camera

As the Oilers posed for a photo with the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl after winning the Western Conference Final, eagle-eyes fans noticed a woman seemingly flashing the camera. So, will someone try to show off their tummy and more at these games, (we hope not because we’re classy), but it’s probably inevitable.

Mcdavid’s Dog is in Attendance

We believe Lenny McDavid is a key component to Connor McDavid’s success. He has been a regular at games previously and was a part of McDavid’s 1,000-point ceremony a few months back. Why wouldn’t he be in attendance to support his father at possibly one of the biggest moments of his life? We expect to see a cameo of him at some point throughout the series.

Wayne Gretzky Statue Shot

The last Oilers captain to lift the Cup was Gretzky, so cue the dramatic slow pan of his statue — probably with swelling orchestral music in the background. Will the Great One make an appearance in Edmonton? Hard to say. More likely, he’s watching from a Florida suite, surrounded by “his people” — the kind who think a power play involves a boardroom and a non-disclosure agreement.

Someone Chugs their Beer on the Big Screen

Some guy with a face covered in paint who will be taking a sick day from work will chug his beer when the camera pans to him.

An Ad for Ozempic

It wouldn’t be American television without a fast food ad immediately followed by an Ozempic drug commercial.

We will be posting a Stanley Cup Finals Bingo Card on our socials tomorrow so make sure you are following us. Feel free to screenshot it and let us know how you get on. If you have been playing our playoff bracket pools throughout the last few months, the end is near and we will be crowning one of you the winner!
