Week 15 Power Rankings

1 – Philadelphia Eagles (1)

The Eagles continued their dominance on Sunday against the Giants and stay at the top of our Week 15 Power Rankings. Quarterback Jalen Hurts put together another stellar performance and is now the favorite to win the MVP award while Miles Sanders had his best rushing performance of the season. The Birds now sit atop the NFC at 12-1 and will be preparing for the Bears this week before a massive meeting with the Cowboys on Christmas Eve.

2 – San Francisco 49ers (3)

Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers decimated the Buccaneers on Sunday, winning 35-7. The offence seems to be just fine with Purdy under center instead of Garoppolo, while the defence once again proved why many consider them the best in the league. There is some concern surrounding Deebo Samuel, but it looks like the reciever will be back at some point this season after suffering a knee injury on Sunday. For now, as long as the ball continues to go to Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk, the team should be able to put up enough points to beat almost anyone with how good they are defensively.

3 – Dallas Cowboys (2)

The Cowboys narrowly avoided disaster in Houston this week, scoring a late touchdown to win by four points against the worst team in the NFL. Even if it was anything but pretty, Dak and the ‘Boys still got the job done and moved to 10-3 on the season. They grab the third spot in the Week 15 Power Rankings mostly for how good we know they CAN be. Yes, it was an off week, but they’ll have an opportunity to make up for it shortly against the Eagles.

4 – Cincinnati Bengals (4)

It wasn’t the most exciting game to watch, but Joe Burrow finally got a win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The Bengals have now won five straight games and still need to get Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins back to full health before their playoff push this year. There really isn’t much else to say about the Bengals, but the AFC certainly needs to watch out for another run from Cincy this season.

5 – Buffalo Bills (n/a)

The Bills round out our Week 15 Power Rankings after an 8 point win versus New York on Sunday. It was a cold, miserable day in Buffalo but the Bills defence was hot and terrorized Mike White all day. Josh Allen and the offence weren’t great, but conditions were not in their favor against a tough Jets defence. Next week, the Bills will once again be at home to play against a desperate Miami Dolphins team looking to avoid a third straight loss.

Honourable mention – Kansas City Chiefs
